Please find below the latest construction update for Sophia by Mosaic at 1357 Gold Coast Highway, Palm Beach, including details of upcoming works that may affect you.
Stormwater & Sewer Connection
Thank you for your patience while the stormwater and sewer connections were completed in October. We understand these essential works may have caused some disruption and sincerely appreciate your understanding throughout this process.
Water Connection
Gold Coast City Council will complete the water connection to the site on Thursday, November 20, between 9:00am and 2:00pm. This will result in a temporary disruption to the water supply during this period.
The Gold Coast City Council will provide a reminder closer to the commencement of these works. Thank you for your understanding.
Mosaic Site Works
Throughout November, Mosaic Construction will continue preparations for excavation works, which are targeted to commence in early December.
Preparations include completing the dewatering system to maintain a safe and stable foundation throughout the next phase and installing a top-down slab to minimise and contain disruptive elements from the community.
We remain committed to minimising impact on the surrounding community and will continue to keep you informed as progress is made.
As in previous months, heavy machinery and trucks will continue to move to and from site during standard construction hours of 6:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Saturday, with all movements managed under an approved Traffic Management Plan.
