Please find following the latest construction progress update for The Bedford by Mosaic at 16-30 Prospect Street, Kangaroo Point, including details of upcoming works that may affect you.
Temporary Road Closures Reminder
To facilitate the final installation of signage to the site sheds on Deakin Street, a single-lane road closure will be in place between 8:30am and 4:00pm tomorrow, Thursday, October 30.
Traffic control measures will be in place throughout this period to safely direct motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists.
Rescheduled Excavator Removal
Due to weather delays, the removal of a 70-tonne excavator from site has now been scheduled between 4:00am and 5:00am on Friday, October 31, weather permitting.
As previously communicated, these works must take place outside standard site hours to safely accommodate the oversized vehicle required to transport the excavator and minimise impact to daytime traffic.
While some noise may be experienced during this time, every effort will be made to reduce disruption.
Traffic control will be in place to manage vehicle movements and to safeguard members of the community.
All relevant permits have been obtained from Brisbane City Council for the above works.
Mosaic Site Works
As the bulk excavation program nears completion in November, the focus will begin to shift toward preparing basement footings and excavating for hydraulic services.
During this transition, noise levels are expected to remain consistent with previous months as these essential works continue.
We understand this can be disruptive and genuinely appreciate your ongoing patience.
Toward the end of the month, once concrete footings are in place, larger site machinery will begin demobilisation from Prospect Street via mobile crane. We’ll keep you informed as we approach this next phase.

Standard site hours remain 6:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Saturday. During the bulk excavation phase, we are maintaining a delayed start until 7:00am on Saturdays.
