We hope this finds you well.

 

Please find following the latest construction progress update for The Bedford by Mosaic at 16-30 Prospect Street, Kangaroo Point, including details of upcoming works that may affect you.

 

Further to our recent update, we confirm that, weather permitting, we are now transitioning into the next phase of works. Key activities scheduled include:

 

  • Installation of the first of two tower cranes – Thursday, 20 June

  • Commencement of bulk excavation at the rear of the site – Monday, 23 June

 

Dust suppression measures will be in place during excavation, including the use of a water cannon to produce a fine mist across the work area, helping to limit airborne particles. Additionally, targeted dust suppression systems will be installed on key machinery to further manage potential dust emissions.

 

To ensure safety during these operations, temporary footpath closures and clearly defined work zones will be in place. All necessary permits have been obtained from Brisbane City Council.

 

As with previous stages, elevated noise levels are expected, particularly during bulk excavation works. These impacts may be more noticeable if we encounter hard ground conditions, which require more intensive breaking. While we will take all reasonable steps to minimise disruption, some noise will be unavoidable during this phase.

 

We remain very conscious of our residential surroundings and are committed to managing these impacts as effectively as possible. We appreciate your continued understanding and cooperation.

 

Construction hours are 6:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Saturday. During these times, dedicated traffic controllers will be positioned at key access points to ensure the safe and efficient movement of construction vehicles as part of our broader traffic management plan.
